This blog is a supplement to my site The Black Tie Guide, the Web’s foremost resource for formalwear etiquette and style. Since formal tradition changes very slowly the Guide only needs to be updated every few years. During the interim this blog will review current trends in formal wear, spotlight my favourite Guide topics and showcase information I’ve gleaned since posting the last edition of the Guide. It will also allow me to respond to readers’ queries in a public forum that will benefit others searching for the same information.
